I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering at North Carolina State University. I am also a member of the department’s Water Resources, Coastal, and Environmental Engineering and Computing and Systems research groups. I use computer models to explore interdisciplinary questions related to air pollution, climate change, and environmental policy. My research is focused on developing tools based on numerical methods, uncertainty analysis, and integrated assessment modeling to simulate interactions between environmental and human systems. At NC State I am building a modeling lab that bridges the vast range of spatial and temporal scales at which these interactions occur.
